Power Outages in Yosemite
Updated 10/27/2019 at 5:50 PM PST
Power outages are possible throughout the park 10/28 and 10/29 due to gusty winds and dry conditions, combined with a heightened fire risk, outside the park. Most lodges and facilities will operate fully on a generator, but some areas may be impacted. Yosemite Valley Lodge and Curry Village guest rooms do not have power during an outage, but the retail, dining areas and lobby will have power via a generator. The Ahwahnee and Wawona Hotel services are all fully operational with power from a generator.
