 Housing

  • All employee housing units come with the basic and necessary furnishings for the summer. This includes a bed, cabinets, and a bear box for food storage.¬† Space is limited, and bedding (twin sized) is not included so you will need to pack your own or pick some up when you arrive in California.
    • Housing rates: From $17.02 to $38.57 per week. $100 security deposit.
  • Housing units have centralized community bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms with washers and dryers.

Roommates

  • Housing is shared. Roommate requests are limited, and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meals

  • Meals are not included with housing. There are two grocery stores and multiple dining options located within Yosemite Valley. Seasonal employees receive discounts on grocery/retail items and a discount at almost all dining locations within the park.
  • Housing units have a community kitchen area with a refrigerator, freezer, sink, stove tops, microwave, and oven.

Activities

  • Discounted rates on activities such as guided hikes, bike rentals, camping gear, ski and snowboard rentals (in winter) are available.

Uniforms

  • Uniforms are provided. Employees working in food-service positions will need to bring black non-slip shoes and black pants.

Pay Frequency

  • Weekly, direct deposit is available.
