Please review current revised services.

Operating Dates

  • June 5 - September 20, 2020

The Tuolumne Meadows Lodge is located 60 miles from Yosemite Valley at over 8,700 feet above sea level. Here, you’ll find 69 canvas-tent cabins that are available from mid-June to mid-September, conditions permitting. Situated next to the Tuolumne River and near Tuolumne Meadows, it’s the perfect place to settle in after hiking in Yosemite—or before embarking on an extended backpacking trip. You’ll find the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge on Tioga Road, near the Park's eastern entrance on Highway 120 East.

Free ranger-led campfire programs and guided hikes are available for Tuolumne Meadows Lodge guests. Please inquire at the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge Front Desk for specific times and locations.

The 69 canvas-tent cabins are constructed with metal-frames and cement platforms. Each canvas tent cabin can accommodate up to four guests.

In keeping with the spirit of camping, there’s no electricity, televisions, or phones. Showers (for guests only) and restrooms can be found conveniently in the center of the camp.

Firewood will be provided too all guests for the wood burning stove in tents.

Guest Services & Policies

Meals at Tuolumne Meadows are served in the riverside dining tent, with a plentiful breakfast spread and dinner that’s sure to fill even the hungriest hiker.

Dinner reservations are required. Guests can sign up for dinner in person at the front desk or over the phone (once Tuolumne Meadows Lodge is open) by calling 209.372.8413.

Box lunches are also available, and can be ordered for the next day. To help keep wildlife wild, cooking inside or outside the cabin isn’t permitted, however many Yosemite picnic areas offer fire rings with grills.

  • This phone line is not set up until the Lodge gets set up in late May. Anyone that is trying to call this phone line in advance will not be getting through to anyone right now. Guests can sign up for dinner in person at the front desk or over the phone (once the Lodge is actually staffed and open).
