The Tuolumne Meadows Lodge is located 60 miles from Yosemite Valley at over 8,700 feet above sea level. Here, you’ll find 69 canvas-tent cabins that are available from mid-June to mid-September, conditions permitting. Situated next to the Tuolumne River and near Tuolumne Meadows, it’s the perfect place to settle in after hiking in Yosemite—or before embarking on an extended backpacking trip. You’ll find the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge on Tioga Road, near the Park's eastern entrance on Highway 120 East.

Free ranger-led campfire programs and guided hikes are available for Tuolumne Meadows Lodge guests. Please inquire at the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge Front Desk for specific times and locations.


Amenities at Tuolumne Meadows Lodge

The 69 canvas-tent cabins are constructed with metal-frames and cement platforms. Each canvas tent cabin can accommodate up to four guests. 

In keeping with the spirit of camping, there’s no electricity, televisions, or phones. Showers (for guests only) and restrooms can be found conveniently in the center of the camp.

Firewood will be provided too all guests for the wood burning stove in tents.

NOTE: Each tent will have a single solar-powered lantern, but we advise guests to bring flashlights and/or headlights for the tent. Be aware that there are no lit paths.
