Stay Where the Views Take Your Breath Away

The Glacier Point Ski Hut offers one of the most spectacular views in the Sierra Nevada. Overlooking Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, and the High Country, it's the perfect winter retreat for skiers. Open from December to March, guests can enjoy the 21-mile round trip or extend their adventure with an overnight stay. Reservations are required for this cozy, unforgettable experience.
The 10.5-mile guided cross-country ski trip follows groomed trails through Yosemite's breathtaking backcountry, a round-trip trek experienced skiers can complete in 4 to 5 hours. Upon arrival, the rustic stone-and-log accommodations at Glacier Point Ski Hut might tempt you to stay the night. Children must be at least 14 and accompanied by an adult to stay overnight at the hut.

Glacier Point Ski Hut Closure

We regret to inform you that the Glacier Point Ski Hut will not open for the 2024-25 season due to a lack of power. However, Yosemite National Park remains a spectacular winter destination! The Nordic Center at Badger Pass Ski Area will operate as usual, offering cross-country ski rentals, lessons, and snowshoeing on the Glacier Point Ski Trail. For alternative accommodation in Yosemite Valley, call 888.413.8869 or click "Check Rates" for reservation options. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to welcome you to Yosemite this winter.
