Tent Beginnings Rooted in Tradition
Curry Village began in 1899 with just 12 tents and a dining area, quickly growing into a thriving hub with hundreds of tents, a dance pavilion, and even an ice rink. Today, the original dance hall stands as the Stoneman House lodge, blending rich history with modern comforts beneath Glacier Point.
